Cut The Red Wire was created in 2004 by Andy Bird, the one and only member of the band, as a way to blend his love of music and art. By blending electronic beats and strong melody Cut The Red Wire weaves a world of bright colors and brilliant imagery, much in the style of the paintings that are produced at each live proformance.

Cut The Red Wire has so far released a full lenght album entitled " Be Still Oh Child of Earth, All Heaven is in Your Hands" (Friendly Arctic/Plastiq Musiq) and an Ep entitled "The Silence of the Sea" (Friendly Arctic)
