Brendan Moss, currently residing in Nashville, TN, has been writing and recording music for some five years now without many people knowing. Brendan's quiet way of presenting himself is very much in line with the gentle voice with which he sings. Writing songs which try at explaining the deepest hopes and loves in his heart, often the songs come out as beautifully intricate prayers to God.

"I would like to think that my songs are as unassuming and profound as the moments in which I have written them. The music comes from the mood I am in, and the words are a response to the moment itself or an expression of the search for meaning within it. All of my songs are prayers. In one way or another they all address my doubts or fears or frustrations with the smothering presence of God in my life, or else the bleakness of his absence from it. They are melancholic and hopeful, steeped in the irony that one who lives inside of me can be so hard to find. I think, in the course of writing songs, I have found pieces of the truth. What is important to me is not the songs themselves but this truth that they contain. My hope is that the truth will stand out, even if it is in stark contrast to the words or music, just as I hope it will stand out in my life even when I cannot see or hear God."
